On behalf of the International Maritime Organisation, Tandy Taylor, Marlins ELT Coordinator, co-ran the 9th and 10th Maritime English Instructor Training Courses, in Malawi (Dec 2006) and Russia (March 2007), respectively.

Marlins have successfully audit two crewing offices for Scorpio Marine in Rijeka and Manila, and one for Bahia, Manila. We welcome these offices to the Approved Test Centre scheme.

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises have adopted the Marlins English language testing system across their fleets and 70 recruitment sites worldwide.

Marlins is about to release an upgraded version of the world-renowned English Language Test for seafarers. The new test can be purchased and taken online and offers companies an enhanced reporting system for monitoring test results at all their test sites, whether on-board or shore-based.
